Tailored ankle rehab following ankle injury.
This video is a lovely example of the kind of work I do with clients to completely tailor their rehab - what I do is never generic.
By this point we’ve assessed, treated and reassessed in order to put together some simple, effective and very much doable exercises to work on strength and stability of the ankle post injury; with the aim of getting back to playing football at full strength and power.
Tailored rehab is always so so so important, especially in ankle injuries as it’s so easy to re-injur an ankle once it’s happened once.
As no two people are ever the same, your recovery won’t be the same, your physiology won’t be the same, the injury mechanism won’t be the same.
There are so many variables that tailored plans can really help with - the example here was 6 months post injury, showing it’s never too late to do rehab and always possible to reach your goals with the right plan.
