Neurodivergent and worried about getting a massage?
You have just found the right place for you, where you’ll be made to feel very welcome and nothing is too much trouble!
I even fill out the forms for you so you don’t have to - because who doesn’t get stressed about filling in forms??
Neurodivergence is one of the areas of my work I am very passionate about and I now have a number of clients who would not be without their regular massage as they love the way it makes them feel, calming and connecting with the nervous system in a way that feels like the clouds parting to leave a clear night sky.
What’s really interesting is noticing the way life seems to shift when the nervous system has had chance to recalibrate the mind and body.
I make everything as easy as possible for you:
Booking your appointment - if picking up the phone if your idea of hell, you can book online here - https://bit.ly/3TR7QPd
Or if you’d prefer to call ahead and discuss what I do first, you’re very welcome to call.
I’ll send you a booking confirmation with my address on, so you don’t need to stress about remembering how to find me.
I have parking, so you don’t need to worry about finding somewhere to park.
You’ll get appointment reminders 5 and 3 days before your appointment.
During the appointment I’ll do a consultation with you (this is a friendly chat) and I fill out the forms for you so you don’t have to stress. I’ll explain exactly what happens during and check if there’s anything you know you do or don’t like (a lot of us have ticklish feet!!).
I leave the room to give you privacy when changing and knock on the door before I re-enter the room.
During the massage you’re in charge - i don’t push into pain and if there’s anything you don’t like I can simply do something else. I know so many techniques that there’s no need to do anything that doesn’t feel good. And I mean that!
I am also absolutely happy to adjust what I can - different music, heating on or off, extra pillows and supports for comfort, candles or no candles, and anything else you might like adjusting to help you chill out. Getting you comfortable is the aim so that your nervous system can calm.
If you have any questions feel free to comment or message me privately - I’m always here to help!
