An Attitude of Gratitude in a Time of Healing
Whilst I have been off work with my broken foot, I have been given a lot of time to think.
I have decided to take this break(!) as an opportunity to re-focus my attitude and be grateful for what I have and am able to do, rather than what I have not - which feels quite appropriate at this time of year.
So today I am grateful for:
* my children, family and friends * my fantastic customers who have been so patient * my business * finding my passion and being lucky enough to do work that nourishes my soul * my health and trust in my body’s ability to heal * living in such a beautiful place, in a safe, dry, warm home * heating!! * autumn weather * the NHS and staff who have been amazing * whilst I still believe in a natural approach to life, I’m grateful for medical advancements being there when we need them * still having the full use of my mind and my hands * I’m truly grateful that it was just the one foot!
Even writing this list makes me feel warm inside!
Whilst I am sat at home, trying to find things to do to occupy myself, I am still able to see the good in the world and be grateful for what I have - even though I’d rather be able to work right now I know I need to take this this time to heal.
So, thank you for your patience, I will be back up and running as soon as possible, and I hope you can find lots of things in your day that make you feel grateful too.
